This bracelet is named after Saint Benedict. He is the founder of the Benedictine order. St Benedict devotional medal has two sides. On one side, St Benedict is holding a cross in his right hand and a Holy Rule in his left. The other side of the medal shows vertical CSSML which stands for "Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux" ("May the Holy Cross be my light") and horizontal NDSMD which stands for "Non-Draco Sit Mihi Dux" ("Let not the dragon be my guide").
